Born in Rochester, NY, Molly spent over a decade in Washington, D.C., and lived in Japan before returning to the Finger Lakes region with her husband to raise their three children.  Molly graduated from Hamilton College and earned her M.Ed. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University.

For nearly thirty years, Molly has worked in the field of education. She was a middle school learning specialist at Sidwell Friends School, an English teacher at Miyazaki Nishi High School in Japan, and a senior educational research analyst and editor at American Institutes for Research. Currently, she is a seasonal admissions reader for the University of Rochester. In these roles, Molly collaborates with others to develop their writing, reading, and editorial skills.

As a College Admissions Essay Assistant, Molly helps applicants craft compelling, powerful, and authentic college essays that represent a growth mindset. Most importantly, students use their voices to show who they are and how they will contribute to the campus community.  

Molly also enjoys camping, playing the violin, and hiking with her family and their goldendoodle, Ozzy.
