Kelli K. brings over a decade of experience supporting high school students on their path to higher education and career success. She holds a Master’s degree in Community Counseling and College Student Development and a Professional Educator License with a concentration in School Counseling.
Kelli has spent much of her career in workforce development, working closely with youth who faced academic challenges, including those who had dropped out or been expelled. Her passion lies in helping students find their way back to education, prepare for the workforce, and pursue post-secondary opportunities—from four-year universities to community colleges and technical programs.
In addition to her counseling experience, Kelli has worked as a grant writer and editor, launched her own resume writing and coaching business, and served as a school counselor. She specializes in guiding students and families through the college admissions process, with a particular focus on personal statement development and essay editing.
Kelli believes every student has a powerful story to tell. She finds great joy in helping students uncover that story, shape it into a compelling narrative, and connect it meaningfully to their college goals. She currently lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband and two active kids.
