In her role at a large public university, she stays current with trends in admissions and student development by networking at conferences with higher education professionals across the country. 

Maddie was born in California and has now settled into her home in San Diego. She embraces a growth mindset and sees herself as a lifelong learner, drawing inspiration from the students she meets. She also enjoys yoga, interior design, and going on adventures with her dog.
