At this 75 minute community workshop, we will discuss the financial aid process, formula factors, scholarships, funding options, admissions and all other information you will need to understand in order to receive the maximum amount of financial aid, minimizing your out-of-pocket costs and help your student get into the colleges of their choice. Even if your family is not eligible for need-based aid, we will explain the best strategies on how to pay for college on the most tax-efficient basis – without putting a strain on the rest of your finances.

We will also have a special guest coming to speak, Marsha Setzer. Marsha Setzer has a Master’s degree in School Counseling and has worked at a variety of high schools, private, public, and international, during her 14 year career. Along with this, she is an admissions reader for UCLA. These experiences have given her an in depth knowledge of college admissions. Having grown up in Santee and now raising her daughter here, she understands the desire to support your child financially and emotionally through the college process.
