College
Planning Source helps families maximize the amount of
financial aid a family receives while minimizing their
out of pockets costs for their children’s college education.
Founder of CPS, Michelle Mai, grew up in Orange County,
CA, graduated as a high school valedictorian and attended
the University of California at Santa Barbara. During
her experience as work-study student working in the
financial aid office at U.C.S.B., Michelle Mai realized
there were a large number of families who did not understand
the financial aid system. She has since been educating
parents and students in Southern California on the "in’s
and out’s" of career planning, college admission,
financial aid and the best way for families to pay for
universities nationwide.
After
Michelle Mai received her bachelor’s degree she started
College Planning Source in 2002 and has developed two
successful programs that work hand-in-hand to help students
get through college faster than the average student
and show parents how to pay for college without going
broke. College Planning Source’s two programs, “Career
and College Planning for Students” and “College Made
Affordable” has provided thousands of families with
tailored plans to get families through the college education
process the right way.
